Nash, Stanley R. Ross & Robert B. Connelly 12 volume reference book set with detailed information on more than 35,000 movies from 1910 to 1984. The volumes in this set are each really massive, measuring 9-inch x 11 1/4-inch and each is approximately 3-inches deep, so that each volume weighs a good 5 pounds or so! Note that in the days before the Internet, this set of books was invaluable to any movie author or researcher, because it has plot summaries and cast lists of a huge number of movies, and there was no place at that time to find that information, short of going to libraries' research sections. Even now, these books still contain information on a lot of movies that is likely difficult to find anywhere on the Internet! Important Added Info: Note that these two volumes are the index volumes to the 12 volume set (there are 10 other volumes). These indexes give complete filmographies for virtually every actor who acted before 1985! Note that these books are both the second editions from 1986. We have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads from each book. Note that on all hardcover books, the buyer must pay the actual cost of shipping (but if you solely buy books, or if you want the books shipped separately, they can be shipped in the U.S. only via "Media Mail", which is much less expensive than Priority Mail; unfortunately, there is no similar service outside the U.S. to Media Mail).
