4 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Park Plaza 605 (released in the U.S. as "Norman Conquest"), the 1953 Bernard Knowles English police detective crime mystery action thriller ("Excitement... and Suspense will be yours when you meet..."; "'Norman Conquest'... was his name!"; "Danger... was his game!"; "Every girl knew why!") starring Tom Conway (in the title role as Norman Conquest), Eva Bartok, Joy Shelton, Sidney James, and Richard Wattis. Note that "Norman Conquest" was a character like "The Saint", who was the star of around 50 books written, starting in the 1930s, by Edwy Searles Brooks under the pseudonym Berkeley Gray. The name would obviously be a difficult cross to bear for any Englishman, and the character was well known in the UK by the time this movie was made, so he is not "introduced" in any way. They chose well in casting Tom Conway for the lead role, for of course, he had played The Falcon, which was a Saint imitator. We imagine this was intended to be the first of a series of movies, but no others were made.

Condition: very good. The card at the top of our image has a stain in the top left corner (and it is slightly in the same place on the other three cards), but otherwise, the cards are in nice condition!
