He was a huge success in crime movies in the early 1930s (almost always playing a gangster), and that unfortunately typecast him in those roles, but he continually fought against it, and he made several wonderful non-gangster movies as well. Some of his movies include: The Public Enemy, Yankee Doodle Dandy, White Heat, Ragtime, Angels with Dirty Faces, The Roaring Twenties, One, Two, Three, and scores of others! AND Van Heflin was an actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include Shane (where he played Joe Starrett), 3:10 to Yuma, The Strange Love of Martha Ivers, Airport, among many others! AND Greer Garson was an English actress from the 1930s and 1960s. Some of her movies include: Mrs. Miniver, Julius Caesar, The Valley of Decision, Mrs. Parkington, Madame Curie, and many more! AND Teresa Wright was born in 1918. This super likeable classy actress was not only nominated for both Best Actress AND Best Supporting Actress in a single year (she won the supporting Oscar for Mrs. Miniver) but she also completed the remarkable "hat trick" of being nominated for Oscars for her very first three movies, something that is highly unlikely to ever be repeated! Her fourth role was the lead in Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt, and she also had memorable roles in The Best Years of Our Lives and The Men (opposite Marlon Brando, in his first movie). But it seems her heart was never in the movies, and she turned to TV in the 1950s, and did much work on the stage. Personally, I will always remember her best for her role as Eleanor Gehrig, wife of Lou Gehrig in The Pride of the Yankees! She is also best remembered for her role in The Little Foxes. Condition: good. The still is rippled throughout because of the newspaper article and snipe glued to the back. The still was used in a newspaper and there is some white paint in the top background areas (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
