Joint Show, the 1967 poster promoting an art exhibition of the works of Fillmore/Avalon psychedelic poster artists Wes Wilson, Alton Kelley & Stanley Mouse, Victor Moscoso and Rick Griffin. The exhibition was held at the Charles Moore Gallery on July 17th in San Francisco, California. All five artists created posters promoting the show, and Country Joe & the Fish performed live.

Artist: Victor Moscoso

Condition: good to very good. The poster had a 12" tear in the upper right, running from the right border through the upper center of the ball across to the right eye of the girl. There was a similar tear in the lower middle right of the poster and also a similar tear in the lower right of the poster. There was a 7" tear in the middle left of the poster and there was once a piece of tape on the end of that tear (the tape is gone, but staining from the tape remains). There were creases, scuffs, and some small tears around the edges of the poster, and noticeable scuffs in the solid black background areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (and any restorer could likely touch up the defects noted above without re-backing the poster, or the poster could be entirely re-backed).
