An Original 1946 (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage German Film Program (measures 5 3/4" x 8 1/4" [15 x 21 cm]; 4 pages) (Learn More)

Across the Pacific, the 1942 John Huston & Vincent Sherman World War II (WWII) romantic spy espionage adventure thriller ("Boy! when Bogart boffs those Japs... or when he kisses Mary Astor you can feel it Across the Pacific"; "From the Saturday Evening Post serial by Robert Carson"; based on the story "Aloha Means Good-bye" by Robert Garson; set in the days right before Pearl Harbor, about a U.S. Army officer who is court-martialed, and he goes to Japan, saying he hates America for what they did to him, but then he learns of the Japanese plans to bomb Pearl Harbor) starring Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sydney Greenstreet, Charles Halton, Victor Sen Yung, and Frank Wilcox. Note that this film reunited three of the stars from the previous year's "Maltese Falcon", as well as director John Huston!

Important Added Info: Note that this program is from a special series of showings of American movies in the "American Zone" of West Germany beginning in 1945, and running for the next three years or so. Each of these special programs have "Published with approval of Military Government" printed on the back. In 1946, West Germany began having regular showings of American movies, and the same movies that were shown in these special showings between 1945 and 1948 were again shown beginning in 1946, so there would be two different programs for each of these movies, one like this, and one "regular" program issued later. Also note that we have provided an image of all the pages of this 4-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and the interior two pages together). This way, you see the entire program, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended).

Condition: very good.
