An Original Vintage 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] News Photo (Learn More)

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were one of the greatest comedy teams of all time from the 1920s to the 1940s. While they both had solo work, they are best remembered as a team, and some of their movies include: Big Business, Helpmates, The Music Box, Tit For Tat, Towed in a Hole, Them Thar Hills, Liberty, and Sons of the Desert AND George 'Spanky' McFarland was one of the most famous child actors of all time! He started making "Our Gang" comedies when he was four, and he made around 100 of them over the next 11 years. He retired from movies in 1942, and lived a movie-free life, passing away in 1993.
Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful news photo (which measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]) shows young Spanky McFarland taking a picture of Laurel and Hardy, who are "rehearsing some fancy steps for the Flashlighters' Ball" to be held in Los Angeles on October 2, 1936. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good. The still is quite rippled throughout and there is discoloration where the rippling is (see our image). Certainly, a talented restorer could perform restoration to this wonderful still, but bear this expense in mind before bidding on it.
