If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, creases, smudges, and some tiny tears on parts of some foldlines, with pinholes in the corners and some smudges and tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Unfortunately, at some point after it was backed, someone spilled a liquid in the top right corner and there is now a brown stain in that area which has also caused the poster and linen to crease and ripple in that area. There is also a brown line stain in the left of the top foldline, in O'Brien's credit. I don't know if a restorer could repair this added defect without re-backing the poster. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored! Learn More about condition grades
