An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 41") (Learn More) The Cabin in the Cotton, the 1932 Michael Curtiz romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel by Harry Harrison Kroll) starring Richard Barthelmess, Dorothy Jordan, Bette Davis (in an early, third billed appearance, this was the movie that first brought her to the public's attention, and included her classic line, "I'd like to kiss ya, but I just washed my hair"!), Hardie Albright, David Landau, and Berton Churchill. Note that Miss Davis was so little known by the public prior to the release of this movie that she received third billing and was not pictured on the posters (but she is pictured on the interior of the herald)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this a Leader Press one-sheet. Leader Press was a company in Oklahoma City that made its own posters for movies of the 1930s and 1940s, and it sent them to theaters throughout the Midwest! Leader Press posters are original posters that were made when the movies first came out. Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41".
