A Group Of 11 Original Vintage Photographic Transparencies (measure 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" [6 x 6 cm]) (Learn More) The Phynx, the 1970 Lee H. Katzin spy espionage rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical screwball comedy ("From an original story by Bob Booker and George Foster") starring The Phynx (Michael A. Miller, Ray Chippeway, Dennis Larden, Lonny Stevens), Lou Antonio, Mike Kellin, Michael Ansara, George Tobias, Joan Blondell, and Ultra Violet. Note that this movie had many famous stars all in cameo roles, most of them playing themselves, including Johnny Weissmuller, Maureen O'Sullivan, Dick Clark, Busby Berkeley, Joe Louis, Ed Sullivan, James Brown, Richard Pryor, Rudy Vallee, Edgar Bergen, Dorothy Lamour, Andy Devine, Huntz Hall, Pat O'Brien, John Hart (as The Lone Ranger), Jay Silverheels (as Tonto), Harold Sakata, Clint Walker, Joan Blondell, Johnny Weissmuller, and many more! In the original script for this movie, many famous celebrities' names were inserted for the dialog for the cameo roles, but there was a page at the beginning that mentioned that those roles could be played by different actors, depending on the availability of those celebrities (originally, they had people like Frank Sinatra, Hopalong Cassidy, Kirk Douglas, Bob Dylan, and more listed, indicating they were aiming really high!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Each transparency comes with a studio-created snipe that explains about each transparency (see our image). Note that these are studio-issued transparencies that are produced by the studio but are not the camera originals. When a smaller format film was originally used, a larger copy transparency was often made by the studio so that retouching could be added and sent out or used for approved publication purposes. The transparencies are each in a cardboard holder, with "Color from: WARNER BROS.-SEVEN ARTS" printed on the holder. Note: We have 12 images of the transparencies in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 12 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 2. Note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. This is a very special auction of 444 extremely rare negatives and transparencies of various sizes. EVERY single one in this auction is either "studio issued" (meaning it was created by the studio and sent to theaters and movie outlets), OR it is a "camera original" (meaning it was the actual negative that was in the camera when the photographer took the picture). Every auction clearly identifies which they are, and there are no items being auctioned that are not either "studio issue" or "camera originals". We have divided them by type and size. Also note that every one of these 444 auctions have had their transparencies and/or negatives scanned expertly. This auction contains that scan with the "eMoviePoster.com" watermark over it. ONLY the winner of this auction will, on request, be sent UNWATERMARKED scan(s) of the items in this auction, which will both save them the time and expense of scanning them themselves, and also allow them to make high quality positive prints of the items they purchased. Condition: very good to fine. The transparencies are in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
