An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures 29" x 43") (Learn More)

Nacht Fiel uber Gotenhafen (released in English-speaking countries as "Darkness Fell on Gotenhafen"), the 1960 Frank Wisbar German World War II (WWII) ocean submarine u-boat military action thriller (about the sinking of the MV Wilhelm Gustloff, the biggest ship catastrophe ever, in 1945, where more than 9,000 of the 10,000 passengers died, including over 5,000 children; certainly, this tragedy is far less known than that of the sinking of the Titanic, and one might think that it was because the Titanic had many rich and famous passengers!) starring Sonja Ziemann, Gunnar Moller, Erik Schumann, Brigitte Horney, and Mady Rahl. This is the only movie version of these events, and if it received a U.S. release, it was certainly very limited! We can hope that some filmmaker will soon decide that an English language movie should be made of these events.
Artist: Bloise

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines. The top and bottom 2" of the poster were folded back at one time and there were pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great!
