An Original Vintage Unfolded Political Campaign Poster (measures 12" x 16" [30 x 41 cm]) (Learn More)

Clint Eastwood for Mayor of Carmel, the 1986 political campaign poster promoting Clint Eastwood for Mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California (a position that he won and held for one term while filming the movies Bird and Heartbreak Ridge), and featuring an image of Clint Eastwood. The poster has "NOT FOR SALE - LIMITED EDITION - DENNIS DeSILVA - STUDIO 7 c1986" printed at the bottom, so clearly it was not sold to the public, but we don't know how these posters were used or distributed, or how many were in the "limited edition". During his single two-year term, Eastwood supported small business interests while advocating environmental protection and constructing a library annex, along with public restrooms, beach walkways, and a tourists' parking lot.

Artist: Studio 7
Important Added Info: Note that this special poster has "NOT FOR SALE - LIMITED EDITION - DENNIS DeSILVA - STUDIO 7 c1986" in the bottom border.

Condition: very good. There are some creases in the center of the top border and some tiny creases around the edges. There is a thumbnail scuff in the upper left border entering into the back of Eastwood's hair, and a few tiny creases scattered in the image.
