An Unfolded Italian Travel Poster (measures 19 3/4" x 27 1/2" [50 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) Incres Line was a Mediterranean cruise ship company from the 1950s to 1975. The company's best-known ship was the MS Victoria. The ship was built in 1935 for the Union-Castle Line and named Dunnottar Castle.The ship was requisitioned for armed merchant cruiser service in World War II (WWII) and served as a troop transport (including carrying British soldiers to Normandy in 1944). She continued in repatriation service after the war until 1949, when after a quarter million miles and troops carried, she was returned to Union-Castle. The ship was sold to Incres Lines in 1958, refitted as a luxury cruise liner and renamed Victoria. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good.
