Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Round-Up Time in Texas, the 1937 Joseph Kane South Africa singing cowboy western musical (in this unusual entry in the Gene Autry westerns, Gene and Smiley go to South Africa to help Gene's brother, but they end up getting captured by a tribe of African natives!) starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Maxine Doyle, The Cabin Kids (a black African American sibling quintet who appeared in a few films and Our Gang shorts), Champion (Gene's horse), LeRoy Mason, Earle Hodgins, and Ray Corrigan (as an uncredited gorilla!). Note that Crash Corrigan made a REALLY wise investment in the 1930s, when he bought a "gorilla suit". In many of the movies in the 1940s where there is a fake gorilla, it is played by Crash Corrigan, no doubt because he could supply the suit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in very good condition. There were holes at each crossfold and tears, creases, and small paper loss on most foldlines. There were smudges in the white background areas and minor border wear. Linenbacking has minimized the poster's defects, but they are still somewhat noticeable, although I do not think they are all that distracting. Learn More about condition grades
