Klein Dorrit (released in the U.S. in 1935 as "Little Dorrit"), the 1934 Carl Lamac German difficulties-of-poor-people debtor's prison melodrama (based on the novel by Charles Dickens; this novel had all the other elements of Dickens' well known novels, including a huge cast of characters, but in this novel, Dickens spent much of it railing against the debtor's prison system then prevalent in England, and it is Dickens' least known work, which has rarely been filmed; Dickens had a great personal interest in this topic because his own father had died in a debtor's prison!) starring Anny Ondra (she was married to director Carl Lamac, and was a major star in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s; she continued working with her husband after they were divorced, and in 1933, she married boxer Max Schmeling, and they appeared in "Knockout" together, and remained married for over 50 years, until her passing in 1987; in the title role as Little Dorrit), Gustav Waldau, Hilde Hildebrand, Kurt Meisel, and Mathias Wieman

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Condition: very good. The poster had two evenly spaced vertical folds and one horizontal fold and there was minor wear on those folds and some pinholes around the edges. There were some scuffs scattered in the solid background areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
