An Original Vintage Autographed Movie Animation Cel (measures 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" [27 x 32 cm]) (Learn More) Mel Blanc was the legendary voice of Warner Bros Looney Tunes cartoons from the 1930s to the 1980s. He's best remembered as the voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Porky Pig, Tweety, Yosemite Sam, Pepe le Pew, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorne, Marvin the Martian, Speedy Gonzales, Road Runner, Henry Hawk, Taz, Heathcliff, Elmer Fudd, Pvt. Snafu, Woody Woodpecker, Barney Rubble, and Dino. In many low budget cartoons, he provided ALL the voices of all the characters! He also had memorable appearances on The Jack Benny Show (using many of his varied voices). Blanc passed away in 1989 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this animation cel has been personally autographed (signed) by Mel Blanc! The animation cel is, of course, on celluloid. Our consignor met Mr. Blanc at a San Diego comic convention in the 1990s, and he purchased it directly from Mr. Blanc. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain both the signature and the cel are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
