An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Laraine Day was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Foreign Correspondent, Stella Dallas, Mr. Lucky, The High and the Mighty, and Tarzan Finds a Son! She had a long running role as Nurse Mary Lamont opposite Lew Ayres in many of the Dr. Kildare movies. Note that many official biographies list her birth date as being in 1917, but when she signed an autograph on a trading card with a biography, she crossed out the 1917 and wrote "1920" above it, indicating she was actually three years younger than that indicated! She passed away in 2007 at the age of 87 (or was it 90?).
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Laraine Day! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good. There is light rippling down the left edge, caused by a snipe that was once glued to the back, but the still is otherwise in nice condition!
