Date Sold 4/10/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Poison Pen, the 1919 Edwin August silent hypnotism mystery melodrama (about the residents of a small town where people start getting "poison pen letters", which spreads smears about them, and then a baby is kidnapped, and detectives start investigating, and they discover that one of the recipients of the letter actually has multiple personality disorder, and in her "other self", she writes the letters; they call in an expert who hypnotizes her, which not only makes her second personality go away, but also completely cures her, and she gets married) starring June Elvidge, Earl Metcalfe, Joseph W. Smiley, Marion Barney, Jeanne Loew, and George Bunny Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine. A small amount of the black tape is missing. Otherwise, the slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
