Date Sold 7/30/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 8 Shadow pulp magazine covers. The Shadow is a vigilante crime fighter that created by Walter B. Gibson in 1931 after initially being a"mysterious radio narrator" for the Detective Story Hour. The Shadow went on to be the subject of a pulp series and radio drama that debuted in 1937. The Shadow is also known for the famous saying, "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!". Note that the items in this lot are from the 1930s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: trimmed to 6 1/2" x 9 1/2"Condition: fair. ONLY THE COVERS ARE PRESENT and each was trimmed to approximately 6 1/2" x 9 1/2". But if you had the entire pulps in nice shape, they would be worth a fortune, and these can absolutely be framed and enjoyed.
