Complete Set of 8 R43 Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) 18 Minutes, (release in the U.S. as "This Woman is Mine"), the 1935 Monty Banks English/U.S. romantic love triangle circus melodrama (about a lion tamer in a circus who buys a lion that killed its trainer and also adopts the orphan daughter of the trainer; she grows up and he falls in love with her, but she falls for a suave magician, and he desperately tries to win her back by having an exciting new act where he tames lions while handcuffed, but during his act, she goes to be with the magician, and he is so distraught that he turns his back on the lions, who instantly kill him) starring Gregory Ratoff, Richard Bennett, Benita Hume, John Loder, and Katharine Sergava (a famous European ballerina who appeared in a handful of movies). Note that there is an oddity about this movie. As noted above, Katharine Sergava was a European ballerina who played the lead role of the young woman in this movie. Yet she is not billed on the only first release U.S. poster for this movie we have ever seen, although the poster does show an image of Sergava. We wonder if she spoke little or no English, and that she had few lines in the movie (this could also explain why her movie career was so limited). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fine. EXCEPT the title card which is in very good condition because it has some minor water staining in the lower left border and in the bottom border. Learn More about condition grades
