On the Motion Picture Screen!"; "Color by Technicolor, Wide Screen"; "Adapted from the original 'Disneyland' Television Productions") starring Fess Parker (in the title role as Davy Crockett), Buddy Ebsen, William Bakewell, Basil Ruysdael, Pat Hogan (as Chief Red Stick), Mike Mazurki, and Nick Cravat. Note that this was originally three episodes of the Disneyland TV series (more commonly known as "The Wonderful World of Disney"). A year after the three episodes aired, someone at Disney had the great idea to release the three as a feature film, and it was hugely successful, in spite of the fact that over half of the U.S. had seen the movie for free when it had aired on TV the year before! Important Added Info: Note that this is only the third time we have ever auctioned a complete set of cards for this movie, and the last time was 14 years ago! Condition: good to very good. Most of the cards have tiny pinholes around the edges (more so only in the blank borders). Card #6 has darkened and has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (partially repaired with tape from the back at left) and several smudges scattered throughout. The title card has a few pinholes and smudges around the edges and there are some smudges at upper center in the title area. Card #8 has a small tear at left in the image. Most of the cards mostly have edge defects only, and the rare complete set is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
