Darling, the 1965 John Schlesinger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) English London model romantic melodrama ("a powerful and bold motion picture... made by adults... with adults... for adults!"; "shame, shame... everybody knows your name..."; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Dirk Bogarde, Laurence Harvey, Julie Christie (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Roland Curram, and Basil Henson. Note that while NSS information refers to "1964" as the year of release for this film, it was released in the U.S. and England in 1965.

Important Added Info: Note that these are rare "country of origin" stills for this English movie! Also note that the stills measure approximately 7 1/2" x 9 1/2", but they do not appear to be trimmed. SUPER IMPORTANT! THIS LOT CONTAINS 6 STILLS, BUT ONLY FOUR OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED! THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 6 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE, and NOT just the four pictured! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made no effort to find the best four stills in the lot, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing four of the stills.

Condition: very good. There are minor scuffs and creases scattered throughout the stills. There is a printed paper snipe glued to the back of each still, but they have no effect on the front.
