An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Campus Flirt, the 1926 Clarence G. Badger silent track-and-field college sports romantic comedy ("Original and screen play by Louise Long and Lloyd Corrigan"; about a snobby rich girl who is sent to college by her father in the hopes it will cause her to change her ways, and she is scared of a mouse, and runs from it so fast that the track coach puts her on the team, and after many adventures, she wins the big race at the film's climax) starring Bebe Daniels, James Hall, El Brendel, Charles Paddock (the legendary Olympic track running champion, as the track coach!), and Joan Standing. Note that cartoonist Rube Goldberg is credited with doing the titles for this movie. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. Apparently, this card was used in a movie theater where the manager was afraid that the audience would not understand what the word "campus" meant, so he (or an employee) pasted a paper snipe over the "AMPUS" and hand-lettered in "OLLEGE" in a very similar writing style. We have no idea how easy or difficult it would be to remove this snipe, and whether or not the area under it has been affected by the glue, so please do not bid on this card thinking you can surely easily repair it (although that is possible). Other than the above, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
