An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Jean Muir was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She became a star at Warner Bros. in the mid 1930s, but she also worked on the stage. In the 1940s, she mostly left Hollywood and performed on radio, television, and in the theater, and sadly, she was one of the first actors to be blacklisted under suspicion of having been a communist! In later years, she became a drama teacher at several universities. Some of her movies include: As the Earth Turns, A Dream Comes True, The Constant Nymph, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (as Helena).
