Raspoutine (released in the U.S. as "Rasputin"), the 1954 Georges Combret French/Italian historical Russian Revolution melodrama (about the legendary "Mad Monk" who became the power behind the throne in early 20th century czarist Russia, and he was assassinated, but it took many tries to get the deed done!) starring Pierre Brasseur (in the title role as Rasputin, the Mad Monk), Isa Miranda (as Alexandra), Renee Faure, Claude Laydu, Milly Vitale, Micheline Francey, Robert Berri, Jean Wall, Robert Burnier, Etchevery, Robert Lombard, Raphael Patorni, Denise Grey, and Jacques Berthier

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a fold along the bottom of the top blank area. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but someone chose to frame the poster and fold the top blank area back before framing, and in doing so, they created a crease along that blank area. The image area is unaffected. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
