An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Edward Everett Horton was a stage actor for 17 years, and he was 36 years old when he became a movie actor in the 1920s. He started with leading roles, but he soon became one of Hollywood's foremost character actors. He was best known for his work in Arsenic and Old Lace, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Top Hat, Lost Horizon, Holiday, Trouble in Paradise, Pocketful of Miracles, and many others. He had a second career many years later doing voiceovers, including many on TV's "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle". Horton passed away in 1970 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Edward Everett Horton (he signed in black pen over the dark background, so the signature does not show very well)! Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is very likely that the autograph is authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good. There are some faint smudges around the edges of the still, but it is otherwise in nice condition!
