An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 15" x 40" [38 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) England Prepared, the 1939 English World War II (WWII) airplane defense documentary ("Authentic representation of the air menace that threatens all Britain!"; "Prepared with the co-operation of the National Defence Services endorsed by cabinet ministers and all public men."). Note that this film showed the preparations that England was taking in the event that they were attacked by enemy air raids (which, of course, they were from 1940 to 1941 during the Battle of Britain and The Blitz). Parts of this film may have been used in the 1941 Academy Award-winning newsreel documentary "Churchill's Island", but we cannot be certain.
