An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Lola Lane was an actress from the 1920s to the 1940s. She was one of the Lane Sisters (three sisters who performed together with Gale Page in a series of movies where they played four sisters). Some of her movies include: Marked Woman, Four Daughters, Murder on a Honeymoon, and Lost Canyon. Note that most people would naturally assume that there were only three Lane sisters in real life, which was why they had to cast a non-sister in the role of the fourth movie sister. But actually, they DID have a fourth sister, Leota, but she had a screen test, and did so poorly that she was sent home (which surely must have made for strained holiday dinners!). Lola passed away in 1981 at the age of 75. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that this still likely has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has the letters "TRR". One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that 160 of the stills in this set of auctions come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of almost his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of those stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us! Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
