Ray Bradbury was apparently in a really goofy mood, because he added a hand drawn image of a young monster behind the printed one, and he wrote "Go for it, pops! Sic 'em! Yah!". Our consignor was a college professor in southern California, who was close friends with Ray Harryhausen, and he interacted with other celebrities, and most of the signed items he obtained were personalized to him (or to him and his wife). He did not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signatures are authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good. The poster had three small tears in the left of the bottom border, and there are three small pieces of clear tape on the back of that area. There is also a piece of sticky tape on the back of the top left and right corners, where the poster was attached to a wall. Those could easily be removed, or at least made not sticky, by anyone with access to a solvent like Bestine (or lighter fluid would work, for two such small areas). Learn More about condition grades
