Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Attack of the Crab Monsters, the 1957 Roger Corman science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy horror thriller ("From the depths of the sea... A Tidal Wave of Terror!") starring Richard Garland, Pamela Duncan, Russell Johnson, Leslie Bradley, and Mel Welles. Note that while this is certainly far from a classic movie, its posters have some of the very best imagery of ANY of the 1950s horror/sci-fi movies! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. Prior to linenbacking, the poster was in very good condition. The half-sheet was never folded and the image area is in excellent condition, with the exception of damage to the upper right corner (which extends into the image background) and minor smudges and creases around the edges of the poster, and some vertical scuffing in the "B" and first "S" of "CRAB MONSTERS". It appears that sometime after this poster was linenbacked, the entire top of the linen became water stained leaving brown water stains in the top linen border and staining and causing creases in the upper right of the poster (an area of approximately 4" x 2"). To me, it is not all that distracting (and could be mostly matted out when framed), or a restorer could re-back the poster and repair the damage. Overall, I would think this is one of the better surviving examples of this poster! Learn More about condition grades
