Torrid Zone, the 1940 William Keighley banana plantation adventure romantic love triangle comedy ("Triple Tropical Trouble ... Cagney ...Sheridan ...O'Brien!"; about a man who runs a fruit plantation in a banana republic in Central America, and he hires an old pal to help him, but that causes problems both financially and romantically) starring James Cagney ("goes native!"), Ann Sheridan ("goes after him!"), Pat O'Brien ("goes after 'em both!"), Andy Devine, Helen Vinson, Jerome Cowan, George Tobias, and George Reeves

Important Added Info: Note that only the top 2/3 of this poster is present. It was printed in 2 pieces. One had the top 2/3 of the poster and the other had the bottom 1/3, AND THAT BOTTOM 1/3 PIECE IS MISSING. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that only 2/3 of the poster is present! Note that it is very fortunate that the portion of the poster that is present contains the majority of the image and all the credits, but of course the title is completely missing!

UPDATED 8/30/2010: Note a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this three-sheet was a 1940s re-release. Based on the litho number it seems to be either 1942 or 1947 but we cannot be certain. Please do not bid thinking it is a 1940 first release.

Condition: poor. The bottom 1/3 of the poster is missing . The top 2/3 has many tears and some small areas of paper loss in the foldlines and borders.
