An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Here Come the Girls, the 1953 Claude Binyon romantic musical comedy (about an entertainer who accidentally gets involved with an escaped killer) starring Bob Hope, Tony Martin, Arlene Dahl, Rosemary Clooney, Millard Mitchell, William Demarest, Fred Clark, Robert Strauss, The Most Beautiful Show Girls in the World, and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: good to very good. There is a 4" tear in the right edge of the poster that was once repaired with tape from the back, and the remaining paper has been damages by the tape and is now VERY fragile and the darker paper in that area is almost completely separated from the poster.
