An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 10 1/4" x 14" [26 x 36 cm]; 80 pages) (Learn More)

Republic Pictures 1943-44, the 1943 campaign book ("68 Box Office-Bonded Pictures for 1945-44"; "The Endless Chain of Republic's Success is Entertainment, Showmanship - And Your Invaluable Friendship and Good Will") designed to promote Republic's upcoming western movies and serials including Captain America, The Masked Marvel, Fighting Seabees (John Wayne), Brazil, Hitler's Hatchet Men, Rosie the Riveter, The Vampire's Ghost, Northwest Frontier, Hit Parade of 1944, Gene Autry, Tiger-Woman of the Amazon, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Note that because Republic was a small studio, they made really cool two and three-page artwork ads (the three-page ones are fold-outs!) for their movies, and there are even two four-page fold-outs! Also note that, because they apparently didn't make many campaign books, the ones from Republic are even more scarce than those from the major studios, which themselves are quite scarce.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this is even more rare than most of the Republic campaign books from this time, no doubt because of the great content, and we have never auctioned it before!

Note: We have 14 images of the campaign books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 14 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 4.

Condition: good to very good. There is wear around both covers, but most of the interior pages are in really nice condition, even better because there are so many fold-outs (see our many images).
