It Runs in the Family, the 1994 Bob Clark family comedy melodrama ("In 'A Christmas Story' Ralphie raised the roof. This summer, the whole family is bringing down the house"; "Based upon the novel by Jean Shepherd") starring Charles Grodin, Kieran Culkin, Mary Steenburgen, Christian Culkin, and Al Mancini. Note that this movie was originally intended to be a sequel to "A Christmas Story", and it was based on the Jean Shepherd Novels "In God We Trust (All Others Pay Cash)" and "Wanda Hickey's Night of Golden Memories", and this movie was again narrated by Jean Shepherd, and was set in the same small town as A Christmas Story. However, the original actors who played the characters in A Christmas Story had either aged too much or were not available, and an entirely different cast was used, and the movie had been intended to be called "My Summer Story", but it was eventually released as "It Runs in the Family" and was quickly forgotten!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised first draft from March 27, 1992 and the screenplay was written by Jean Shephard, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark. Also note that the script has the working title "A Summer Story" on the cover, but the movie ultimately was called "It Runs in the Family".
