If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small paper loss in the top and bottom blank borders, and otherwise had only minor fold wear. The person who restored the poster did a good job of touching up the above basically minor defects. Overall, the poster looks nice, and the restoration is only noticeable from inches away. Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was somewhat roughly handled and there are now creases in the left half of the bottom blank border in both the poster and the linen. They will greatly diminish over time of the poster is put flat under weight, and they would be matted out if the poster was framed. Learn More about condition grades
