Old Hutch, the 1936 J. Walter Ruben poor-man-strikes-it-rich comedy ("The stars of 'Ah Wilderness' in another heart-warming hit!"; about a lazy man who finds $100,000 of stolen money, and he realizes that no one would believe that he could have earned the money, so he decides to become a success at business so that he can explain how he has the money!; a remake of the 1920 Will Rogers movie, "Honest Hutch") starring Wallace Beery (in the title role as Hutch), Eric Linden, Cecilia Parker, Elizabeth Patterson, and Robert McWade
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald that was included with it, and it is pictured next to the pressbook below. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook, and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)!

Condition: fair, WITH CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut (but there is an oddity with this pressbook, because someone once cut out an ad and then they later taped it back in, so it is still complete!). Like most MGM pressbooks of this period, the interior pages are very fragile and they are all darkened with some tears around the edges. There are some tears around the edges of the front and back covers, but they are not very fragile. The middle right 4" of all the interior pages are separating and are extremely fragile in that area, and someone put some tape on some of the pages.
