If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we don't know for sure what this poster is! It looks like one of the oversized color photos printed in Italy for use in the U.S. in the late 1960s and 1970s, but it has no markings on it, and it may be slightly trimmed (it may well have originally measured 24" x 36" but was trimmed by 1/2" in each direction). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had several slightly diagonal vertical folds and a great number of creases and scuffs scattered throughout (see our image). Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Backing the poster only slightly minimized the many creases, so please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster.
