Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Condition: good to very good. The poster had some smudges, scuffs, and fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There was a 4" horizontal tear just below the bottom crossfold and a 14" slightly diagonal tear running across the top right of the bottom credits box (extending into the top of the letters of "NELSON". Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. At some point after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and there are now some creases in the left and top borders (both in the excess linen and the poster itself), but they are not very noticeable.
