An Original Vintage Unfolded Video Rental Store Poster (measures 25" x 39" [64 x 99 cm]) (Learn More) Wizard Video was founded in 1981 by director Charles Band. The company distributed a wide variety of cult films, including Italian horrors and sex comedies. But their most successful releases were those licensed from New Line Cinema which included: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Female Trouble and Pink Flamingos. The company also experimented with releasing Atari video console games (Halloween, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre), but these were widely criticized for their violence and would find little profit. Around 1984, they began to release their movie titles in the big box format and this proved to be a big success. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This video poster measures 25" x 39" [64 x 99 cm] and was for the video release of this movie, not the theatrical release. Condition: good to very good.
