Artist: Reynold Brown Condition: good. This poster is in generally nice condition, EXCEPT it has an unusual "defect". Someone at the theater that used this poster was an aspiring artist, and they took pink paint and they created "accents" to several areas in the poster (in the torch at right, in the skull at center, in the fire at bottom center, on the edge of the axe, and on Karloff's fingernails. I can't say that it does not look attractive, because it looks fine. However, if one did not like it, they would have to have a professional remove the added paint (see our image to see exactly where it is). I would think many collectors would choose to display the poster as it is, but please bear this unusual defect in mind before you place your bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
