An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Chapter #7 ("The Bandit Raiders") Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More) The Fast Express, the 1924 William Duncan silent transcontinental railroad train romantic action adventure serial ("Universal Chapter-Play"; "From the short story magazine story 'Crossed Wires' by Courtney Ryley Cooper"; about the building of a transcontinental railroad, and during the course of the serial, Miss Johnson is kidnapped by a masked villain and held at a haunted house!) starring William Duncan, Edith Johnson (William and Edith were real life husband and wife and made several serials together), Harry Carter, John Cossar, Albert J. Smith, and Harry Woods. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at several crossfolds and creases, tears, and small areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were some tears, pinholes, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now minor creases in the top and bottom of the left border (in both the excess linen and the edges of the blank left border of the poster).
