An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) I'm No Angel, the 1933 Wesley Ruggles circus sideshow romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Come up and see me sometime - any time!"; "Goodness... has nothing to do with it!"; about a sexy dancer in a third rate circus; she lives with a guy, but that doesn't stop her from seeing other men; when her boyfriend goes to jail, she becomes the lion tamer; she gets a rich playboy boyfriend, but she wants his cousin, played by super young Cary Grant!) starring Mae West, Cary Grant (in his 12th movie role!), Gregory Ratoff, Edward Arnold, Ralf Harolde, Kent Taylor, and William B. Davidson. Note that this movie was originally called "It Ain't No Sin", and the enactment of the Production Code caused the title to be changed to the much tamer "I'm No Angel", and apparently caused several racy scenes to end up on the cutting room floor! Important Added Info: Note that we have had only three lobby cards from this movie in all our years of auctioning, and those were 7, 9, and 11 years ago, and none of those three showed Cary Grant, while this card has a wonderful close up of Mae West and Cary Grant (and you can practically hear her saying "Come up and see me sometime - any time!" Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card was used in England, and there is a small square English censor snipe glued to the bottom left corner. It has a pinhole in each corner and some faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! While I would think most collectors would not mind the censor snipe at bottom left, it could easily be removed by a talented professional, and the card would not need to be backed.
