An Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Patric Knowles was an English actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: The Charge of the Light Brigade, The Adventures of Robin Hood (as Will Scarlett), The Wolfman, and How Green was My Valley. He passed away in 1995 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Patric Knowles (he signed it to his friend Ken Jones; see below)! Note that this item was consigned to us from the family of Ken Jones, who was an author of books about movies (including books about character actors and western stars). In the course of researching his books, he became friends with many Hollywood actors, and he would ask them to autograph stills for him (originals if he had them, or repros if he did not), and they obliged, usually returning the stills to him with a personalized inscription "To Ken". The family does not have a letter of authenticity for this signed item, but we feel certain it is authentic, given Mr. Jones' personal relationship with the star. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
