An Original Vintage Unfolded Canadian Film Festival Poster (measures 26 1/2" x 41" [67 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) World 3-D Film Expo, the 2003 poster advertising for the World 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) Film Expo that was held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood from September 12th to the 21st. This film festival exposition featured many of the classic 1950s films that were shown in 3-D including Rita, Inferno, Dial M for Murder, It Came from Outer Space, and many more ("Over the ears, there have been many different methods used to photograph and present 3-Dimensional images. The Polaroid System uses two projectors interlocked together projecting through clear filters, with one projector showing the left image and one showing the right image. The Polaroid glasses that are basically clear [the have a slight gray tint] also contain the same Polaroid material, resulting in each eye seeing only the proper left or right image. Since they are clear, the viewer can watch the film in full rich color or startling black and white. This system is NOT new. It was first shown publicly at the 1939 World's Fair to great acclaim.
