An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Peter Ibbetson, the 1935 Henry Hathaway romantic love triangle fantasy melodrama (based on the novel by George du Maurier; about an architect who takes an important job for an English Duke, and then he discovers that the Duke's wife is his childhood sweetheart; the Duke becomes insanely jealous and is killed by the architect, who is sent to jail for life, but the two lovers are shown united in unusual fantasy sequences, and their fantasy selves do not age, and when they both die, they are finally united forever) starring Gary Cooper (in the title role as Peter Ibbetson), Ann Harding, Ida Lupino, John Halliday, Douglass Dumbrille, Virginia Weidler, Dickie Moore, and Doris Lloyd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There is an 8" x10" still from an unknown movie glued to the back of the card, but it does not appear to have any effect on the front. There is marker writing in the upper left corner and there is a small amount of tattering and staining around the edges of the card. The card is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
