An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 85" [104 x 216 cm]) (Learn More) Under the Southern Cross, the 1955 Armand Denis & Michaela Denis English Australia Outback Aborigine documentary ("All the untamed majesty of Australia's Lost World") starring Armand Denis, and Michaela Denis. Note that Armand Denis had explored Africa and India in the 1930s with his wife Leila Roosevelt, and had produced and directed many short subjects with footage of their travels that he and his wife had shot themselves. In 1948, the 52 year-old Armand Denis divorced Roosevelt, and married 34 year-old Michaela Holdsworth, and together they made four movies (very similar to those he had made with his first wife), including this one, in which they travel to Australia. Important Added Info: Note that this was a serious documentary about Aborigines in the Australian Outback, but the poster designer could not resist slipping in an image of a voluptuous topless Aborigine woman in the top right, and skinny dipping females in the lower left! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! Note that this poster contains artwork of an unclothed woman, so we have placed a white bar over that area, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual poster does not have that white bar! Also note that this English three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Condition: very good to fine.
