An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]) (Learn More)

Organize!, the 1960s Glad Day Press reprint of a 1937 poster ("Education"; "Organization"; "Emancipation") encouraging workers to join the Industrial Workers of the World. The I.W.W. is an international labor union founded in Chicago in 1905, and their members are referred to as 'Wobblies'. Note that this poster features Dust Wallin art of a man representing the I.W.W. encouraging men from a variety of groups (including an anarchist, a communist, and a priest [sky-pilot]) to organize. Glad Day Press printed left-wing material during the 1960s and 1970s (such as material concerning the Vietnam War, the Black Liberation Movement, Students for a Democratic Society [SDS] and the Cornell University Carpenter Hall takeover).
