An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More) The St. Louis Kid (released in England as "The Perfect Week End"), the 1934 Ray Enright Missouri romantic dairy farmers crime comedy ("The star of 'Here Comes the Navy' in another Comedy Hit!"; about a trucker who accidentally gets involved with some dairy farmers when he lies and claims he was helping them so it will get him out of jail, and then he gets involved with them for real, including getting involved with a pretty young woman) starring James Cagney ("As the leading laugh-getter"), Patricia Ellis, Allen Jenkins, Spencer Charters, Addison Richards (Roscoe Karns originally played the role played by Richards but was replaced for unknown reasons, but publicity material exists that shows Karns, so he must have been replaced after filming started), and Dorothy Dare NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, for this Swedish release, the Swedish distributor changed the title to a Swedish title that includes the word "Chicago"! Apparently, more Swedes at that time were familiar with Chicago than were familiar with St. Louis, and the distributor likely thought no one would care about the change! Condition: very good. There are some creases and tiny tears around the edges of the poster and a diagonal crease in the bottom left corner, but otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition!
