An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 32" x 43 1/2" [81 x 110 cm]) (Learn More)

Men Working Together!, the 1941 U.S. World War II (WWII) poster featuring photographs taken by Alfred T. Palmer of Sgt. French L. Vineyard (a soldier in the Army), George Woolslayer (a civilian welder), and John Marshall Evans (an aviation-radio chief in the Navy) designed to show how the civilian population could be doing as much to win the war as those in the Armed Forces.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never folded, but a previous owner of the poster had it dry-mounted to a foamcore board and then a framer put a line of double-stick tape on the excess part of the foamcore (not the poster), and attached a cover mat on top of it (and the cover mat just covers over the edges of the poster, so that some minor border defects are not exposed). Obviously, one could have someone remove the poster from the dry-mounted background, but if I owned this poster, I would simply either get a frame to put around it, or just put the matted poster on the wall just as it is (one could put nails above and below it that would hold it in place). But please do not bid on it unless you are wanting to buy a poster that has been dry-mounted to a foamcore board, or are willing to go to the expense of having it removed from the board.

Condition: good. The poster was dry-mounted to a foamcore board . A mat was put over the edges of the board, and it covers up some small border defects (tiny tears and tiny paper loss). The mat is loose in a few areas, so you can lift it up and see the edges of the poster underneath. Please do not bid on it unless you are wanting to buy a poster that has been dry-mounted to a foamcore board, or are willing to go to the expense of having it removed from the board.
