An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Women in War, the 1940 John H. Auer World War II (WWII) military romantic nursing mother-daughter family relationship melodrama ("The Emotional 'Big Parade' of Today!"; made just before the U.S. entry into World War II, this is a really hokey melodrama about a carefree young woman who was raised by her divorced father, and is involved in a negligent homicide, and tries to start her life over by going to England and becoming a nurse; she clashes with the strict matron at the hospital she works at, and then eventually discovers the matron is her long-lost mother!) starring Elsie Janis, Wendy Barrie, Patric Knowles, Mae Clarke, Dennie Moore, Dorothy Peterson, Billy Gilbert, and Colin Tapley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
