Date Sold 4/23/2017 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 15 Herbert Marshall and Lee Russell 8x10 news photos (ranging in size from 5" x 7 1/2" to 8" x 11 1/2"). Note that the items in this lot are from between 1940 and 1947. The wonderful actor Herbert Marshall was married five times between 1915 and 1966 when he passed away, and he was obviously one of those people who could not bear to be single, because he was not married for only one of those years! This auction is for a collection of news photos showing him with his third wife, Elizabeth Roberta Russell, who was known as "Lee", and to whom he was married from 1940 to 1947 (and they had a child). We have provided an image of the front and back of each of the news photos (some have stamps or snipes on the back, and all are definitely vintage to the above years). Measurements: from 5" x 7 1/2" to 8" x 11 1/2"~Condition: very good. The largest news photo measures 8" x 11 1/2" and has creases in the top 1/2".
